OUR STORY
Mateusz Osicki
Mateusz, his core discipline is Thaiboxing and Grappling - 2003 two-time Polish champion,
3rd place World Cup in Jiu-Jitsu and all-style karate
"MMA and Grappling challenge you, bring you to your limits - trust in your strength and you can be sure: you will always and always better".

Darrell Collier
Ancient rock of the Amberg martial arts scene
"One Team - No Ego. You want to fight in the ring, in the cage? Welcome. You just want to keep fit with martial arts? You too will become part of our team ".

Mateusz Osicki moved from Poland to Germany in 2004. For two years his search for full contact martial arts was unsuccessful. In 2006, he found a kickboxing club on the mountain trail, where Darrell and his friends trained Sascha and Ben. Mateusz took over the club and made a Thaibox club out of it. At that time, there was no interest in grappling and MMA.
In 2008, the fight team, including Darrell and Sascha, moved to Raigering, as a subtenant of a martial arts club. Ben collected his martial arts experience in the UFC-Fighters-Schmiede Hammersteam Nuremberg over the next few years.
At Darrell, the potential was immediately apparent and he pursued the same goals as Mateusz, so it was soon clear that his commitment and talent in Thai boxing and the competition experience should be passed on to the members. Soon, Darrell and Mateusz co-directed the gym.
As sub-tenants, they could not achieve the common goals, the interest and demand for MMA and Grappling increased, so Darrell was always looking for new space. During this time Ben found himself back to us. The move to our own gym in 2016, where everything started, on the mountain, made the martial arts blessing perfect and also the number of coaches complete, Johannes joined us as Grappling Trainer.
The commitment of all coaches also pays off in medals: In 2017, the fighters of the MMA Fight Team Amberg win first tournament successes.
